Schweinefleischerzeugnis, geräuchert
It resembles the Cervelat, but is more refined and delicate. Weight, recipe and shape differentiate it from the curved Cervelat or Stumpen, because it is straight. It was created by Bell at the turn of the century (19th to 20th century) for an industrial exhibition in Strasbourg, Alsace. That's why it was also called Exhibition Sausage or Ussteller/Boule de Bâle.
