Classic cream sweets. It all happened in the small town of Werther in 1909. There, the confectioner Gustav Nebel created his finest sweets at the height of his skills. He took fresh cream, quality butter, white granulated sugar, golden candy, a pinch of salt and a lot of time. And because the cream sweets were ultimately a great success, they were called Werther's Original. They still taste as delicious today as if they had been eaten straight from Master Nebel's baking tray.
