Fry the bacon, onion and apple in a non-stick frying pan for approx. 5 mins. until golden brown, remove, set aside.
Boil the potatoes in salted water for approx. 15 mins., drain.
Rub the garlic around the fondue pot. Add the cheese to the pot. Bring the fondue to the boil over a low heat, stirring constantly. Add the topping to the fondue, serve with the potatoes.
