Cut the bread into eight slices. Place two slices each into four greased ovenproof dishes, drizzle with wine. Top with the sliced ham. Cut the cheese into 12 slices and place on top. Cut the onions into rings, slice the garlic and place on top of the cheese, season.
Bake for approx. 10 mins. in the upper half of an oven preheated to 220°C.
