Apple croissants

This is needed
for 24 pieces
Croissants
- 1 puff pastry dough, rolled into a circle (approx. 32 cm Ø)
- 1 tbsp water
- 4 tbsp ground hazelnuts
- 2 red-skinned apple
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon

And that's how it's done
Place the apple slices on the wider part of the dough pieces, roll up towards the pointed end, shape into croissants. Beat the egg and use it to brush the croissants.
Croissants
Roll out the dough, brush with a little water. Mix the nuts, sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle on top of the dough. Cut the dough like a cake into 24 equal pieces. Halve and core the apples, cut each into 12 slices.
To bake
Approx. 20 mins. in the lower half of an oven preheated to 220°C. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly on a cooling rack.
