Peel and halve the bananas. Melt the cake icing in a warm bain-marie or microwave, pour into a bowl. Halve the Smarties. Dip the bananas in the warm cake icing so that both ends are covered in chocolate. Allow the excess icing to drip off, place the bananas on a sheet of baking paper.
Using a little icing, attach Smarties for the beak and feet. Press sugar eyes into the bananas to make the face.
