Cake mix & baking
  • 150 g butter, melted, left to cool
  • 1 parcel chocolate cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 dl milk
Icing
  • 150 g icing sugar
  • 1 parcel vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 50 g butter, melted, left to cool
  • 5 tbsp strong coffee, chilled
  • 100 g coconut flakes

Cake mix & baking
Place the baking mixture in a bowl, add the butter, eggs and milk and mix well. Spread the mix over the prepared oven tray. Bake for approx. 20 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 180°C. Remove the cake, allow to cool a little, and turn onto a fresh sheet of baking paper. Remove the top sheet of baking paper and return the cake to the oven tray.
Icing
Combine the icing sugar with all the ingredients up to and including coffee, stir well and spread over the cake, scatter with the coconut flakes and leave to cool. Cut the cake into 20 slices.
