Kebabs
  • 300 g veal steaks, in ca 3 cm breiten Streifen
  • 1 courgette, längs halbiert, in ca. 5 mm dicken Scheiben
  • 2 EL olive oil
  • 1 Glas dried tomatoes in oil (ca. 280 g), abgetropft, halbiert
  • wenig pepper
  • 1 TL salt
  • 6 long metal skewers oder Holzspiesschen
Topping
  • 2 EL olive oil
  • 1 Bund basil, fein geschnitten
  • 50 g Pecorino romano, fein gerieben
  • 50 g almonds, fein gehackt

Kebabs
Mix the meat and courgette with the oil, season. Thread the meat onto the skewers in a wavy design along with the courgette and tomatoes.
Topping
Mix the oil, basil, almonds and cheese.
To grill (charcoal/gas/electric grill)
Grill the kebabs over/on a medium heat (approx. 180 °C for approx. 10 mins. all over, plate up and sprinkle with the topping.
