  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp liquid honey
  • 1 tbsp dark sultanas
  • a little cinnamon
  • 2 apple, cut into segments
  • 5 sprigs thyme
  • For an ovenproof dish that can hold approx. 1 litre, greased

And that's how it's done
Boil the sugar and water in a wide-bottomed pan without stirring. Reduce the heat and simmer, shaking the pan occasionally until a light brown caramel has formed. Add the lemonjus, remove the pan from the heat, continue stirring until the caramel has dissolved.
Add the honey, sultanas, apples, thyme and cinnamon, mix. Place everything in an ovenproof dish. Bake for approx. 12 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 200 °C. Remove from the oven and allow to cool a little.
