Roll out the dough, place in the tin along with the baking paper, prick firmly, sprinkle with 1/3 of the amaretti.
Mix together the mascarpone, lemon juice, eggs and sugar in a bowl. Carefully mix in the cherries. Spread the filling over the base, sprinkle with the remainder of the amaretti.
Approx. 35 mins. in the lower half of an oven preheated to 220°C. Remove from the oven, leave to cool, dust with icing sugar.
