Irish whisky BBQ sauce

- 500 g tomato, cut into pieces
- 1 onions, coarsely chopped
- 2 garlic clove, coarsely chopped
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 3 tbsp whisky (e.g. Jameson Irish Whiskey)
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 1 tsp whisky (e.g. Jameson Irish Whiskey)
- 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper

And that's how it's done
Place the tomatoes and all the other ingredients up to and including the cayenne pepper in a pan, bring to the boil while stirring. Reduce the heat, simmer for approx. 20 mins. until the mixture thickens, puree and pass through a sieve. Stir in the whisky.
