- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 leek, cut into thin rings
- 200 g frozen peeled chestnuts defrosted, roughly chopped
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 300 g spätzle egg noodles
- 4 tbsp water
- 80 g grated Gruyère
- a little pepper

And that's how it's done
Heat the oil in a wide frying pan. Add the leek, sauté for approx. 2 mins., add the chestnuts and cook for approx. 3 mins., season with salt. Mix in the spätzli, fry for approx. 5 mins. Stir in the water and cheese, season.
