Wine tips: These wines go with fondue
  • Starting to separate: Put the pot back on the stove and heat the fondue up again. Then either add a little lemon juice or mix some cornflour with kirsch, water or wine and stir it in.
  • Too stringy: Either the cheese is too young or the fondue isn't acidic enough. A little lemon juice will help. In general you should only ever allow fondue to bubble gently.
