The production method of Osborne has been handed down from generation to generation. Veterano is produced using the demanding and traditional Solera process. High quality distillates - both wine distillates and neutral alcohol - are partially aged in different barrels of approx. 600 litres, which were used for the maturation of the Osborne Oloroso Sherries. In the Solera process, a small quantity is taken from the barrels (solera) stored on the ground for bottling. The quantity that was removed is refilled from the first layer, which in turn is refilled with wine from the next layer. This continues until the highest layer is reached, at which point new distillates are added. 6 months maturation in oak barrels. Appearance: mahogany to amber, shimmering clear. Nose: Wine-like, soft, harmonious, plum notes. Palate: soft, long-lasting. 30% vol. 70cl.
