Golden, amber, limpid colour with very light yellow-green reflections. A smooth appearance, Suze lets its body be anyone's guess. An intense, harmonious nose. The main note is gentian. Secondary fruity notes emerge (citrus, apricot) and vegetal (vanilla) notes with a hint of caramel. Round on the palate, with a taste of gentian, orange, citrus and vanilla. Secondary notes of fresh gentian root. A slight harshness without aggressiveness. Its bitterness gradually builds in strength, then asserts itself with a long, smooth and rounded finish. The alcohol's heat is present in the throat, but remains limited: the lingering gentian bitterness is clearly expressed.
