'Gin'
Gordon's Gin is called distilled gin or London gin.
In addition to ethanol of agricultural origin with at least a 96% alcohol content, juniper berries and other natural plant ingredients are added (depending on the gin brand: coriander, lavender, almonds, caraway, aniseed, cardamom or orange and lemon peel). The juniper flavour must remain dominant.
The term Dry refers to an unsweetened product - this is quite common today. The sweet Plymoth Gin is no longer popular and therefore not widely available. The name London refers only to the method of production, not the location of production. It has spread all over, is the only gin that is available worldwide, and is said to be regarded as the best gin by the royal family. With a 70% market share, it is the undisputed leader of the gin market.
