Teeling Single Malt is the third edition of non-aged Teeling Premium Whiskeys. In its production, Jack Teeling and his sons used up to 23-year-old single malts that had aged in five different wine casks, including Sherry, Port, Madeira, Weissburgunder and Cabernet Sauvignon. This combination of cask maturation techniques is an absolute first in the history of Irish whiskey. The result is a lively whiskey with well-balanced aromas of dried fruit, citrus, vanilla, spices and cloves.
Like all Tealing whiskeys, the Teeling Single Malt was bottled at 46% vol. It is not cold-filtered.
John Teeling, the bedrock of the Irish whiskey industry and pioneer of unique distillates, is breaking new ground with the new TWC Teeling Whiskey Company. After selling his Cooleys Distillery in 2012, John and his sons founded TWC aimed at the continuation of their life's mission: to make unique and authentic Irish whiskeys.
