Glenmorangie 18 Years ages in sherry casks for the last 18 months. This results in an intense whisky with deep fruit, nut and grape notes.
Handcrafted by the Sixteen Men of Tain! Although this motto is no longer quite true today (unless you count the guides), Glenmorangie is still the most drunk malt whisky in Scotland. This distillery pioneered the introduction of various final maturations. In addition to port, Madeira and sherry, whiskies finished in relatively rare French wine casks (Sauternes/Burgundy) are also on offer. Glenmorangie uses its own woods, sourced from the Ozark Mountains in Missouri. After air drying, the distillery lends the barrels to Jack Daniel's in Tennessee for four years.
