Lasanta is Scots Gaelic for warmth and passion. A tantalizing blend of warm, creamy and nutty aromas. This whisky is not cold-filtered and is bottled at cask strength.
In the sun-burnt plains of Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusia, southern Spain, the sensuous, smooth, creamy sherry is produced, to which this region owes its fame. The sherry casks that preserve the warmth and nutty flavor of the powerful sherry are imported by Glenmorangie to the Scottish Highlands, where they are filled with single malt whisky. It is stored in these barrels until the whisky takes on the subtle nuances of flavour and the rich, golden, rusty brown clarity of the sherry.
