Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch Whisky. 15 years old. 70 cl. 40% vol.
Distilled, matured and bottled in the Valley of the Deer since 1887.
Our history: William Grant realised his life's dream in 1886 and built his own distillery. He called it Glenfiddich, which means Valley of the Deer in Scots Gaelic. At Christmas in 1887, the first drop flowed from the distillation kettles. Today, Glenfiddich, still owned by the William Grants family, is the world leader in single malt whisky.
Our Solera process: Unique to Scottish whisky is our Solera barrel, whereby the whisky matures in three types of oak casks - sherry, bourbon and new oak. The Solera cask is always half full, creating a rich and intense whisky with a hint of honey and raisins that becomes more complex over time.
Our awards: Since 2000, Glenfiddich has received more awards at the International Spirits Challenge andthe International Wine and Spirit Competitions than any other single malt scotch whisky.
