Absinth Ritual: 2cl Absinth in ein Absinthglas geben, den Absinthlöffel mit einem Würfelzucker auf das Glas legen. Den Zucker langsam mit kaltem Wasser übergiessen. Das Wasser zuerst nur über den Zucker giessen. Dieser soll sich auflösen und benötigt dazuetwas Zeit. So wie der Zucker sich auflöst, wird mehr Wasser nachgegossen. Gleichzeitig kann der Absinth mit Wasser in der Menge verdünnt werden, so wie er geschmacklich bevorzugt wird.

Dilute 1 part absinthe with 5 parts water, pour 2 cl of absinthe into an absinthe glass, place a sugar cube on the absinthe spoon, and then place the spoon on the glass. Pour cold water slowly over the sugar, so that the sugar eventually dissolves. Dilute withwater.
