Tasting notes: Appearance: Brilliant gold; Nose: Very aromatic, dry, slightly phenolic, slightly peaty; Body: Firm, slightly oily; Palate: Remarkably smooth, long-lasting flavour development. Aromatic notes of heather, then freshly cut grass and malty sweetness intensified in a storm of peat; Finish: A long crescendo.
