Dark ruby red with a deep purple hue. Dense and fruity on the nose, giving way to ripe plums, violets, chocolate and a hint of liquorice. The Bansella is powerful and well-structured on the palate. A modern and most agreeable Barbera. Good, polished length.
Immediately after their arrival at the winery, the grapes are destemmed and lightly crushed. Maceration takes seven days at a controlled 28° Celsius. When fermentation is complete, the Bansella red wine is aged for nine months in used oak barrels with a 270 litre capacity.
