Strong ruby colour, an intense bouquet of red cherries, coconut, vanilla and American oak barrel, leather and caramel, typical aromas, juicy fruitiness, ripe and silky tannins, very soft, with great elegance, a long and complex finish.
The Marques Riscal Bodega was founded in 1860 by a Frenchman, which imprinted a lasting character on this wine. The company can rely on an unusually high share - 40% - of grapes from its own production. The higher the quality of the wine (Reservas and Gran Reservas), the higher this proportion is. Aged for 26 months in barrels.
