Intense garnet colour, a nose that evokes aromas of cassis and blackberry, with hints of spices, tobacco and wood, powerful on the palate, very well blended, with good tannic density and pleasant fruitiness, good length. A young wine.
This wine is aged in barrels for 12 months. The winery was founded in 1891 by Don Louis Tirasso, considered to be one of the pioneers of viticulture in Mendoza. Today, Santa Ana is one of the leading wineries in wine export. The vineyard has a growing area of 251hectares. They mainly grow Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah for red wine and Torrontes and Chardonnay for white.
