The Fetzer Vineyards domain is located in northern California, in Mendocino County. It was founded in 1958 by Barney Fetzer, a forester. The Fetzer family gradually bought up other wine growing domains, eg. the Sundial Ranch, a farm in the Redwood Valley, and another in Valley Oaks. The wine is aged for 12 months in barrels.
