Dark purple colour, full with hints of violet, a discreet nose with notes of tobacco, ripe black fruit, cherry, with hints of sediment, very strong and concentrated, robust and full, with a long finish.
Cahors is located south of Bordeaux. Cahors' black wine has had an AOC status since 1971. The main wine is Auxerrois, which hides the Malbec grape, which was just as dominant in Bordeaux, in the past. Malbec also means Cot.
