A medium ruby red with pomegranate-red accents, aromas of sour cherries and raspberries, and slight cedarwood notes, a delicate spiciness, including cocoa and sweet caramel. Concentrated, expansive fruitiness, redcurrants and gooseberries, very well structured with balanced tannins, aromatically punchy, elegant and with a lasting finish.
Nipozzano lies at the heart of the Chianti Ruffina DOCG region. Since the XIIth century, the proud Frescobaldi family has been closely linked to Florence's history. Today, the Marchesi are best known for their premium wines made from their very own vineyards in Italy.
