Full garnet colour, a predominant woodiness with spicy and toasted aromas on the nose, ripe cherries, a classic aromatic palette, with lots of character and structure on the palate, expressive and noble, a delicate bitterness, a very good wine to serve with a hearty aromatic dish.
Made exclusively from Brunello grapes, a clone of the Sangiovese grape. Still confidential in 1970, its production is now undertaken by over 100 farms. Prescribed minimum storage time is 2 years in barrels and at least 4 months in the bottle. For sale 5 years after harvest, at the earliest.
