Diluted ruby colour. Intense and attractive raspberry, violet and pepper aromas that are characteristic of this grape variety. Firm on the palate with fresh acidity, plenty of fruit and a small amount of voluptuous tannin. Medium-bodied, fruity, good depth.
Gamay is the great grape of Beaujolais. The wines are always fruity and light. It is their charm that makes them seductive, not their power. Cave de Genève’s wines are picking up ever more awards, and the complement is fully deserved. This Gamay comes from vines that are over 25 years old, with deep roots that help create wines with mature tannins and concentrated aromas.
