Dark ruby red with violet glints. Delicate berry notes on the nose, plums, fresh wood and spice. A smooth entry on the palate with delicate tannins. An aroma reminiscent of plenty of ripe dark berries, cherries and chocolate plus elegant toasty aromas. Attractively balanced and pleasantly fragrant finish.
The must is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for 12-15 days. The young wine then matures in French barriques for 15 months, followed by a 3-month refining period in the bottle.
