Sustained purple colour, an intense berry bouquet in a surge of black cherry notes punctuated with hints of beet and potato. Slightherb aromas accompanied by nuances of yeast, an attack that returns to berries, medium build and good ampleness, a little bit earthy on the palate and rustic but with well-structured tannins that are evident into the finish.
A family estate of 11 hectares, situated between Lausanne and Geneva, cultivated organically (the Bio bud) since 1994. A dozen different wines are produced. The winery combines tradition and innovation, alternating between stainless steel vats and oak barrels. The Bio bud label is an independent label that belongs to its producers. It forces them to cultivate their entire domain according to organic guidelines. The vineyards are located accross 5 appellations at the heart of the Coast (Luins - Vinzel - Begnins - Coteau deVincy and Tartegnin). The soils are also extremely varied, from limestone to acidic and from light to heavy, allowing a clear distinction between the different areas.
