St-George is an important wine-growing city with 33 Premiers Cru zones on 175 hectares and Village appellations on 144 hectares of vineyards. The famous Bichot Domaine, founded in 1831, is currently run by the family's sixth generation. It is one of the pillars of the Burgundy wine-growing community. The Bichot family respects the principles of balance, including the secret of alchemy from the terroir, the vines and its workers, throughout its numerous activities.
