In the Valle Talloria in Diano d'Alba, the Giordano family have been producing a wide selection of classic wines, since 1900. The company was founded by Ferdinando Giordano, grandfather of the current president of the company, and then taken over later by his sonGiovanni. Today the leader in direct wine sales, Giordano is now one of the largest wine distributers in Italy. Despite its growth,the company has retained the character of a family business. In a century, four generations have been constantly pursuing the same goal: preserving the tradition and philosophy of the company while ensuring customer satisfaction. DOC for the red wine from Puglia.The area extends along the south coast of the Salento peninsula and includes the provinces of Brindisi and Taranto. These dark red wines with purple hints are reminiscent of Zinfandel. For a long time, it was thought that the primitovo and zinfandel grapes were identical, in fact, they are only cousins.
