Garnet colour, an intense nose combining ripe blackberries, plum, cassis and elderberry, with very spicy aromas of cinnamon, clovesand nutmeg with hints of raisin. Soft and full on the attack, a supple structure, complex flavours along with long dark berry and cinnamon aromas on the palate, fleshy and warm with pleasant tannins. A muscular, concentrated wine.
In the Talloria Valley in Diano d'Alba, the Giordano family have been producing a wide selection of classic wines, since 1900. The company was founded by Ferdinando Giordano, grandfather of the current president of the company, and then taken over later by his son Giovanni. Today the leader in direct wine sales, Giordano is now one of the largest wine distributers in Italy. Despite its growth, the company has retained the charm of a family business. In a century, four generations have been constantly pursuing the same goal: preserving the tradition and philosophy of the company while ensuring customer satisfaction. Manduria is a red wine DOC from Puglia. The area includes, along the south coast, the Salento peninsula, the provinces of Brindisi and Taranto.
