Deep ruby ??colour, a spicy bouquet with aromas of toast embellished with interesting herbal hints and wrapped in sustained cherry aromas, cassis and plums with a hint of leather, elegant finesse on the attack, a fruity presence, medium body, gentle tannins, a modern wine, harmonious, ample, that lingers in the mouth.
The wine is matured for 18 months in barrels. Raimat Castle and the surrounding 3000 hectare domain were purchased by Codorníu the sparkling wine company. 2200 hectares were irrigated and planted with indigenous grape varieties, but also with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Negro and Chardonnay. A new winery was built and since then Raimat wines have become the most attractive in Spain.
