Matured in barrels for 12 months, a beautiful ruby colour, ripe berry aromas, an intense bouquet of plum and prune aromas, caramel and tobacco, soft on the palate, a harmonious body, a presence of berries, subtle tannins into the finish; a pleasant wine.
Cune (Compania Vinicola del Norte de Espana) is one of the oldest and largest producers of Rioja. Originally, the area was founded by French vintners, today it belongs to the Vallejo family. Numerous storage halls filled with small, old wooden barrels stacked to the ceiling, the impressive old wine cellar and its tens of thousands of decade old bottles are proof of a glorious past. Today, Cune counts on innovation and has, with its ultramodern equipment to receive and vinify its grapes, a wine cellar where tradition and technology work together in perfect harmony.
