Anything from the famous Rioja house CVNE is always good – such as its Real de Asúa, for example, with its convincing fruity elegance. Coming from the clay-dominated soils of the winery's own vineyards, the grapes are harvested when they reach optimum ripeness. The wine is aged for 18 months in small French oak barrels. This gives it its gentle character, as well as the beautiful wood notes that so perfectly complement the Tempranillo fruit.
