Dark garnet colour, an intense bouquet of raspberries and plums, with nuances of cinnamon, ample from the first sip with beautiful concentrated fruit, barrel notes and roasted coffee, a well structured muscular body, strong for a Sangiovese, magnificent concentration and a long finish.
The Tre Monti winery was created in the early 60's. In the early 80's, a new goal was set: to reach a quality level in Romagna thatwas virtually unknown. This revolution started in the vineyard (new grape varieties, reduced yields per hectare and dilution), thenthe changes continued in the cellars. David and Vittorio Navacchia now manage the operation under the supervision of their father Sergio. The ownership of more than 50 hectares covers two areas, one on Imola hills, the other on those of Forli. Only grapes that are grown on the premisses are processed. - The best Sangiovese grapes come from the Vigna del Fiume region in the commune of Petrignone from vines that are 30 years old. Matured for 3 months in French oak barrels.
