Intense purplish-red colour. A complex nose of cinnamon, prunes and tobacco, with roasted notes. A creamy beginning, with a fruity sweetness and a powerful body wrapped in a robust texture. Noticeable tannins at the finish, persistent and long.
The Bodega was founded in 1891 by Don Louis Tirasso, considered to be one of Mendoza's viticulture pioneers. Today, Santa Ana is one of the leading wineries in wine export. The vineyard covers an area of 251 hectares. Mainly Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah are grown and Torrontes and Chardonnay for white. Matures: 9 months in French and American oak barrels.
