Penfolds was founded in 1844 and is now the largest wine merchant in Australia. Koonunga Hill - is the most famous Penfolds wine. The exact combination varies from year to year, with a proportion of Shiraz 65-75% that is significantly higher than Cabernet Sauvignon. Matured for 10 months in French and American oak barrels.
