Crimson red colour, an intense, spicy nose of berries with a nuance of tobacco and flattering toasted notes, blackberries, a young wine, perfectly structured with homogeneous tannins, modern with good concentration, an interesting aromatic diversity and finesse. A wine that could age a bit but very good!
The large Frescobaldi family domain has a long tradition of wine making. Founded over 700 years ago, it is now in the hands of the 30th generation, led by Marchese Leonardo and his brothers Vittorio and Fernando. Nine vineyards covering a total of 850 hectares belong to this empire. All are located in Tuscany, in different DOC zones. Luce and Lucente are grown on the 150 hectare Castel Giocondo vineyard in Montalcino (Sangiovese and Merlot). A joint venture with Robert Mondavi.
