Chablais; commune and wine-growing centre. Vines extend over 130 hectares of land, 83% white, mainly Chasselas grapes, 17% red, Pinot Noir and Gamay grapes. A wine museum was built in 1971 in Aigle castle, built in 1179. The third generation of the family business is now run by Henri Olivier Badoux. The family owns 55 hectares of vineyard in Aigle, Yvorne, Ollon, and St-Saphorin and Chardonne. In addition, the family produces wine for an additional 45 hectares of vines.
