Pale yellow with green hues, a very floral nose reminiscent of roses andcitrus flowers, delicate and fruity on the palate, a freshfeeling with good balance, a delicate acid structure assorted with spicy aromatic complexity; good value for money.
A family business - John Geber owns extremely well located vineyards. However, the vines are 1600 km apart from each other, across Australia, in fact. The white wines are made from Chardonnay planted west of Sydney near the little town of Cowra. Geber's red wine is a blend of Cabernet and Shiraz that matures in the Barossa Valley. This is also where the family property is located, Château Tanunda, is where most of the wine is pressed, fermented, cellared and stored in 12,000 French and American oak barrels.
