The Wildcard line offers the perfect balance of value for money. The people in the area call him the Baron of Barossa-Valley. And for the wine magazine Decanter, he is nothing less than the living legend of Australian wine He's Peter Lehmann, son of a Lutheran pastor. His family settled in this region on Australia five generations ago. However, he was the first to enter the wine trade. The company continues to grow under his iron rule. Up to 15,000 tons of grapes are processed per year, largely from independent growers. Lehmann himself meanwhile, has no more than 55 hectares of vines, including the Stonewell vineyard with 18 hectares purchased in 1994. The estate now belongs to Hess Group AG. (The Hess Collection Winery, USA / Glen Carlou Vineyards, South Africa / Bodega Colome, Argentina and Peter Lehmann Wines in Australia).
