Very pale yellow colour, very lively scents of grapefruit, lime and blossoms, lively on the palate but also mild, with a distinctive Sauvignon Blanc aroma, very seductive, lovely texture, well balanced with a fresh spicy finish.
Founded in 1876 in St-Helena, it is one of the oldest wine-growing areas in Napa-Valley. And also one of the largest with its 800 hectares of land. Purchased in 2000 by the Australian company Mildara-Blass (Fosters). It's under the Beringer Founders Estate label that you can find the new line of wines for popular consumption. The Founders' Estate Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Lake Country, northeast of Napa Country.
