Beautiful golden yellow colour, a spicy nose offering characteristic minerality with notes of ripe peaches and melons, a mouth thatskillfully combines creamy sweetness and charming softness, not to mention the typical aromatics of this particular vintage, that ends with complexity and good length.
Amigne: this ancient white grape is grown only in Valais and probably dates back to Roman times. The Valais relies on 2000 years ofwinemaking tradition to cultivate the Amigne grape. Few other wineries can say as much. The grape was officially listed for the first time at the ampelographic Geneva International Exhibition in 1878. Currently, it is grown on 38 hectares (only in Valais), of which 27 hectares (70%) are in Vétroz.
