This family estate has belonged to Charles Favre's sons since 1944. The Fendant from Valais, commonly known as Chasselas, was introduced, it seems, by General de Courten in the eighteenth century. He was the first to plant a vineyard in Sion. The main town in thecanton, has 425 hectares of vineyards, produces 61% of white wines and 39% of red wines. In addition to the traditional wine varieties, you can also find a wide variety of specialty red and white wines.
