Pale golden yellow colour, an open nose dominated by notes of flint with fine floral nuances and delicate aromas of acacia, a lively mouth evolves nicely with hints of spices, with a return to attractive mineral nuances, supple and creamy, very nice with a long finish.

Fendant is probably the best known white wine from the Valais. The Domherrenwein is part of the Golden Capsule range of Provins wines. The law dictates a minimum of 68° Oechsle. Provins is a cooperative, founded in 1930, following a difficult wine producing situation at the time. Wine producers first got together to create a company to produce and store their products. In a second stage, theycreated a structure to market their products. Provins is now the largest producer of Swiss wines, representing about 23% of the production in Valais and 10% of the Swiss production overall. More than 4,400 members entrust their harvest to the cooperative in the amount of about 10,000,000 kilos of grapes every year.
