The family business was founded in 1944 by Charles Favre and his sons. His son, Jean-Pierre has managed it since 1975. It stores grapes from 80 hectares of vines, mostly produced by longtime suppliers. The Hurlevent product line denotes a range of specialties whose emblems are Dole, Black Noir and Gamay.
